After over six-hour marathon meeting at the University of Abuja, its national headquarters, the Academic Staff Union of Universities has finally extended the over six-month-old strike.
The National Executive Council of the University union overwhelmingly voted against the resumption over some unresolved issues with the Federal Government.
President of the ASUU, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke is expected to issue a press statement making the union’s stand known.
