Frontline APC stalwart and medical practitioner, Dr Femi Thomas has congratulated Ekiti people on the smooth transitioning of government in the state.
In a statement made available to newsmen by his media aide, he congratulated Ekiti on the milestone of the inauguration of the 5th Executive Governor of the state.
The Ikoro-Ekiti-born politician observed that though it’s been a long path to economic emancipation on which the outgoing Kayode Fayemi-led administration has put the state, the people have a reason to be thankful to God for the calibre of the personality coming into the saddle of leadership in Ekiti State now.
He described Mr Abiodun Oyebanji as a divinely chosen leader who will lead the state with the fear of God. Ekiti people voted massively for him because of his leadership qualities.
He called on the people to support the new administration to build on and consolidate the numerous achievements of his predecessor.
He also congratulated Dr Kayode Fayemi on the completion of a successful tenure, wishing him well in his future endeavours.
