Oyeweso and Oloyede

Professor Siyan Oyeweso, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Chairmanship Candidate of Irepodun South Local Council Authority, Adekunle Oloyede have commended the Osun Independent Electoral Commission, OSIEC, for a well organized local government elections.

Oyeweso who voted at Sekona ward 8 unit 5, Ede South East Local Council Development Area, on Saturday, also lauded residents of Sekona for trooping out en-masse to vote their favorite candidate.

Addressing journalists immediately after he voted, Oyeweso who expressed his satisfaction about the “We are very impressive with the turnout here as you can see all women and men on our left flank, and party men also exercise their franchise in today’s local government election.

Describing the exercise Oyeweso said this is “A rancor free, violence free and an excellent expression of the will of the majority of the people.

“We in this ward have exercise our franchise and we are pleased with the conduct of the election.

He also lauded OSIEC, presiding officers and all security unit that engaged in the October 15 Osun local government election.

Also , chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for Ede South East, Olaleye Fatai Ishola assured the people of the council of the inclusive government if he emerged the winner.

Ishola commended the residents of the LCDA for their peace conduct during the poll.

Also speaking after voting in Erin-Osun, Irepodun South Local Council Development Area Adekunle Oloyede applauded OSIEC for the orderly process of the conduct of the election.

Oloyede noted that election materials of arrived to all polling units in the LCDA at the appropriate time.

While speaking about Osun APC Oloyede said,” The level of turnout of electorates of this LCDA showed that people of this council still believe in democratic system of our party.

“The people of Erin-Osun still love our party and they showed that during the voting today. We don’t believe in any legal tussle as we believe the procedure is to us, legal and following due process.”
