It was an harvest of another set of dividends of representation as the lawmaker representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, Ejigbo federal constituency, Rep Bamidele Salam on Friday rolled out another set of empowerment items and grants to members of his constituency.
The distribution of the materials and cash under the BS E4 Initiative was done at the Country Home of late Senator Isiaka Adeleke in Ede.
The items include simple sewing machines, industrial sewing machines, grinding machines, hair dryers for saloon owners, freezers, spraying machines for farmers and motorcycles.
Speaking at the event, Elder Sister of Osun Governor-elect, Yeyeluwa Modupe Adeleke-Sanni described the lawmaker of someone who symbolises what the administration of the People’s Democratic Party represents, which according to here is “giving back to the electorates.
She commended the Salam for not leaving out people at the grassroots in his representation.
“This is wonderful and I believe this represents what the PDP administration under the leadership of Senator Ademola Adeleke will mean to Osun people – giving back at all times. We’re proud of our fantastic Honourable for what he has achieved so far. We believe electing him for second term will mean more development and benefits to all of us.” Mrs Adeleke-Sanni said.

Addressing over 500 hundred beneficiaries, Salam urged them to remain steadfast in their support to the PDP and Senator Adeleke.
He also urged them to make judicious use of the items distributed to them, calling on them not to put them up for sale.
InsightMedia recalled that Rep Salam earlier this month facilitated bursary awards for about 1,000 students of tertiary institutions who are indigents of his constituency.
This came just hours after he organised a leadership bootcamp for 200 students of secondary schools. Teachers were also trained, given tablets and empowered during the 5-day long activities held in Ede and Iragberi.
