An aspirant for the House of Representatives in Boripe/Ifelodun/Odo-Otin Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Bashir Adegboyega Bello on Friday paid a visit to all wards in Odo-Otin local government to rally support for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming Osun state governorship election, Alh Gboyega Oyetola and his deputy, Benedict Olugboyega Alabi.
Bello, who was received by mammoth crowd of cheering supporters and party faithfuls in all wards, emphasized the need for continuation of good governance started my Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
He also condemned vote buying and urged the Independent National Electoral Commission to find a lasting solution to the menace as it is constituting great threat to our democracy.
Bello also advised the electorates to value their future over what he termed as ephemeral gain that they will derive from the token being offer them by the politicians.
“I think the best solution to this is that our people show know the value of votes and why their future should be preferred to the token they offered them. The votes is their power and should not be sold at any price. I think sensitization will solve the problem and that what our team has been doing across the constituency,” he said.
Speaking on his ambition to represent the constituency, the politician said he remains the best aspirant as he has been with his people, understood their culture, and ready to afford them the real dividends of democracy.
He also highlighted numerous empowerment and wealth creation programmes his team has done and promised to do more.
