A Fellow of National Institute of Management, Alh. Razaq Olatunde Bello has emerged as the National President of old Students’ Association of Ede Muslim Grammar School, Ede.
Bello was elected on Saturday, July 1st at the Annual General Meeting if the Association held at the School Premises.
Also elected were Mrs Afusa Kareem, Vice President 1; Mr Lawal Isiaka Adenle, Vice President 2; Mr Abidoye Ismail, National Secretary and Mr Abdulraheem Adekilekun as the Public Relations Officer.
Others are Alh. Buniyamin Adesina, the Asst. Secretary; Mr Kolapo Kamorudeen, the Welfare Officer; Mr Olaniran Nureni, Financial Secretary and Mr Adelakin Nureni, Treasurer.
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected President thanked every member for confidence they reposed in him and other newly elected exco members.
He sought for the cooperation of all the members and promised to harness all the opportunities abound in the school in seeing that the school received all the necessary attention of agencies of Government for its development.
He appreciated all the past Presidents for setting the pace, while acknowledging the achievements of the past Presidents of the institution which include amongst other, the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke.
He urged all Elders,the Stakeholders, and Past Presidents to have it in mind that the celebration of 50th years of the establishment of the school in 2024 is going to be remarkable.
He however appreciated his 1984 set under the chairman of Otunba Majeed Adekunle Rajesh for the trust they have in sponsoring him for the position. He promised to be their good Ambassador.
