Osun state government has inaugurated a committee which will see to the distribution of fuel subsidy Palliatives given to the state by the federal government.
Performing the inauguration, Governor Ademola Adeleke said the committee will be saddled with the responsibility of deciding the proper mode to be employed in sharing the Palliatives without favouritism.
Adeleke noted that three thousand bags of rice have been received as Palliatives from the federal government.
The Governor who spoke through the state Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi explained that in order to display high level of transparency, his administration decided to inaugurate a committee that cut across all strata of human endeavours to deliberate on how the Palloatives will be shared.
In their separate responses members of the committee including the Chairman Muslim Community, Alhaji Mustapha Olawuyi, the Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria, Osun state chapter, Rev. John Adeleke, the Chairman Joint Negotiating Congress among others appreciated the transparency of Governor Adeleke’s administration.
