In a startling development, Russia has issued a stern warning, asserting that attacks on its soil will not go unanswered. The statement comes in the wake of a series of drone attacks that unfolded overnight, an incident Moscow has squarely blamed on Ukraine. The striking distance of these assaults is particularly noteworthy, with Pskov airport, situated hundreds of miles away from the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, becoming the scene of an attack that left two military cargo planes engulfed in flames.

According to Russian military sources, Ukrainian drones met their demise in the skies over several regions, including Bryansk, Kaluga, Oryol, and Ryazan, as the nation’s defense forces swiftly took action. Russia’s accusations, claiming that Ukraine has carried out numerous drone strikes on its territory recently, have heightened tensions. However, it’s important to note that Ukraine has yet to claim responsibility for any specific attack on Russian soil.

Meanwhile, a separate yet equally concerning development has unfolded in Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv. The city experienced its most substantial air assault in months, resulting in a tragic loss of life. Reports indicate that two individuals lost their lives in the attack, as falling debris from downed targets wreaked havoc on several buildings across the city.

As both Russia and Ukraine exchange accusations and tensions escalate, the international community watches with growing concern, hoping for a peaceful resolution to the crisis.
