Popular Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo has taken a bold step in his dream to become a Member of Parliament.
The actor amongst 5 other people have picked nomination forms for the NDC Parliamentary primaries to elect a candidate for the party in the upcoming By Election at Ayawaso West Wuogon.
John Dumelo last week made his intentions clear to vie for the seat which became vacant following the death of then MP, Kyeremateng Agyarko.
Breaking the news to the media, the Chairman of NDC for the constituency says 5 persons, including the actor and the 2016 candidate, Delali Kwesi Brempong have picked up nominations form.
“Currently, four people have picked nomination forms. Our former DCE who contested in 2016, Delali Kwasi Brempong, and we have John Acquah and John Dumelo. I am told one gentleman called Ewenam has also picked a form,” he said.
