In commemoration of his birthday on the 12th day of March, 2024, Engr. David Ayodele Asalu (ASLER) has concluded plans to make food donations to the people of Ejigbo Local Government of Osun State.
The food donation continues his tradition of giving back to society on his birthday, especially through poverty alleviation and empowerment programmes. Over the years, he has distributed food support packages to over five thousand (5,000) persons within Ejigbo Local Government.
Engr. Asalu, through the 2024 Edition of this food distribution programme will distribute food items including rice, beans, and milk to over 1000 individuals in Ejigbo Local Government.
Keeping with the spirit of Ramadan, Engr. Asalu has also concluded plans to provide daily Iftar to over 500 needy persons in Ejigbo Local Government. This gesture is also one that he has continued to do every year.
The APC stalwart believes that the current economic hardships in Nigeria require that individuals make important sacrifices for the growth of their communities and people. According to him, while the government of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) is doing a lot to re-organize Nigeria and make it a thriving Nation, individuals who are well to do must also stand in the gap to provide critical support to the needy.
He further promised that he will continue to do everything within his means, to ensure that the poorest of the poor in our society get the support they need to thrive.
