The Independent National Electoral Commission has transferred the Resident Electoral Commissioner that conducted the recent governorship election in Ekiti State, Prof Abdulganiy Raji to Ogun state.
This is coming barely 20 days to the February 16th presidential and National Assembly elections.
The INEC spokesperson, Taiwo Gbadegesin made this known in a statement he signed on Sunday.
The commission ordered Omoleke Muslim to take charge of Ekiti state in acting capacity.
“It may be as a result of his well-acknowledged outstanding election performances in the past,” he said.
