New details have emerged in the ongoing coroner investigation into the death of singer Mohbad.
It placed social media influencer Prime Boy and a nurse who reportedly treated the late musician under further scrutiny.
During the resumed hearing at the coroner’s court in Ikorodu yesterday, Adeyemo Boluwatife, personal assistant and nephew of Mohbad, testified in the events leading up to the singer’s untimely death.
In his testimony, Boluwatife stated that Prime Boy, a close associate of Mohbad, had been involved in an argument with the singer shortly after a show in Ikorodu.
Boluwatife, who had gone to a nearby PoS operator to withdraw money with Mohbad’s younger brother Adura, said they returned to find the singer in an altercation with Prime Boy.
“I went to withdraw money at the PoS. When we came back, we found Mohbad was fighting with Prime Boy, and I noticed he was bleeding from his right arm.”
He also reported that the left window of the Prado jeep they arrived in had been broken, with Prime Boy leaving the scene shortly after.
According to Boluwatife, this was not the first time Mohbad and Prime Boy had clashed.
