The Anambra State Directorate of National Youths Service Corps in has highlighted crisis prone areas in the state where Corps members will not be deployed for Saturday’s elections.
The scheme insisted that no corps members will be posted for election duty in Idemili and Ogbaru local government areas of the state on March 9.
NYSC State Coordinator, Kehinde Aremu, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Awka, state capital, on Tuesday.
He said Brigadier General Sulaiman Kazaure, D-G of the corps, had after the presidential election barred corps members from being used as election officials in volatile areas in order not to further endanger their lives.
