Crisis erupted at ward 1, unit 6, Ede North local government in Ede, Osun State as  men of Nigeria Army beat up a party agent at the polling unit.

The incident happened when the Peoples Democratic Party agent, Aderibigbe Musliudeen approached a suspected fake electorate to show his PVC but he couldn’t do.

The said electorate punched the PDP and the fight started.

Other party agents rushed to rescue the Musliudeen before the men of Nigerian Army intervened.

Speaking with newsmen, Musliudeen of PDP said the soldiers beat him up, an account that was confirmed by the other party agents and electorates at the queue.

Fresh wounds were seen at three different points on his arm.

Party agent of the Action Democratic, Ayeloja Olabisi confirmed the brutality of Musliudeen my the military man.

However, Party agent of the APC, Kareem Tajudeen who also alluded to the brutality denied that the said electorate was fake.

Police man at the unit said the contentious man has fled.
