An nongovernmental organization, Tobest Liberation Movement and Empowerment Initiatives has extended support to orphanage home in Osogbo.

The organization on Saturday, 12th of October 2024, embarked on a successful courtesy visit and humanitarian outreach to Abiye Orphanage Home in Osogbo, Osun State.

The event, which brought together volunteers and members of the movement, was aimed at providing vital support to the children under the care of the orphanage and to give a message of hope to the children.

According to a statement by the media unit of the organization, the team delivered essential provisions, including food items and toiletries, to help meet the immediate needs of the children.

“The day was filled with heartwarming interactions, as volunteers took time to engage with the children, sharing words of encouragement and inspiring hope for the future. The visit reinforced the movement’s core mission of uplifting and empowering vulnerable groups in society through compassionate action and tangible contributions.”

Speaking on the success of the visit, the Coordinator of Tobest Liberation Movement, Comrade Owolabi Hassan Tobest, emphasized the importance of community support in shaping the lives of children who have been displaced or orphaned.

Owolabi highlighted that the organization is committed to building lasting relationships with institutions like Abiye Orphanage, ensuring that their efforts to care for these children are continually supported and encouraged.
