The former member of the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Azeez Popoola has congratulated the winner of the just concluded House of Assembly elections in Irepodun/Orolu State Constituency, Alhaji Nasirudeen Babatunde Olateju.
He made this known in his country home today, after the declaration of Olateju as the winner of the election by INEC.
Olateju who is a former Chairman of Irepodun local government won the election in most of polling units in Orolu/Irepodun state constituency including the polling units of his major contender in PDP.
Popoola, the Erin-Osun-born politician, who is also a former Chairman of Public Account Committee while in the State Assembly, stressed that, his (Olateju) overwhelming experiencing in public leadership has boost the confidence of the people in voting for him.
He however urged the people of the constituency their support for Olateju so as to reap hugely from the dividend of democracy.
