The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has announced that the price of petrol will decrease to N935 per litre effective today, following a new arrangement by Dangote Refinery.

The association stated that this change is due to a reduction in Dangote’s ex-depot fuel price and a new uniform pricing strategy, allowing marketers to offer petrol at N935 per litre.

In a statement to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, National President Alhaji Garima commended Dangote Refinery for this positive development.

According to NAN, Dangote Refinery has slashed its fuel price by 7.27%, reducing it from N970 per litre to N899.50 per litre at its loading gantry and has also introduced favorable credit terms for marketers.
