Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated the newly-appointed chairman of the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) Dr Remi Oyindasola, saying the appointment is truly deserving for a thoroughbred professional like the appointee.
Dr Oyindasola, the Offa-born boardroom guru, is one of the most sought-after hands in the country’s financial sector and his appointment at this time will reinvigorate the emerging Nigerian pension management regime, according to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Rafiu Ajakaye.
“His Excellency is grateful to President Muhammadu Buhari for yet another honour done to the state through this significant appointment, and particularly for his very warm reception when he paid the President a working visit last week. The Governor reassures the President of the full support and solidarity of the people of Kwara State,” the statement said.
“The Governor felicitates with Dr Oyindasola on the appointment and wishes him God’s guidance and great success in the new role. The Governor is convinced that Dr Oyindasola would continue to make Kwara and indeed Nigeria proud.”
