Another LP Assembly candidate dumps party, joins APC in Kwara

Barely few days after an House of Assembly candidate of the Labour Party (LP) defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, another candidate from Action Democratic Congress (ADC), Ishaq Issa Alawuyan, has also announced his defection to the ruling party.

Alawuyan was until his defection House of Assembly candidate of the ADC for Ipaye/Malete/Oloru Constituency.

The ruling APC in Kwara has received several chieftains and stalwarts from opposition party with hundreds of thousands of their supporters buildup to the election.

The defectors have always attributed their decision to the outstanding performance of Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

They pledge to support his second term bid and the aspiration of other APC candidates in the state.
