TEMIDIRE COMMUNITY (OSOGBO WEST LCDA): Next was Temidire Community. This Community is at Tinumola Area not far to Capital Hotel. The road shown to us was totally deplorable from extent that the dwellers of Community were unable to ply the road linking them to Tinumola, except they pass through Ring Road. The Chairman of the Community Chief Rauf Agboola Opaleye Solicit from the government to please come to their aid because of the poor condition of the road. The Vice Chairman Hon. Babatunde Adegoke promised them that the government will soon see to their problem. He therefore enjoined them to always help government by regularly paying their taxes as part of their responsibility to the government.
We hereby recommend that the government should look into the problem and help them solve it as this will add value to government as well as voters because most of the dwellers are members of our dear Party APC.
Here attached the picture of the road.

OKE BAALE (OSOGBO L.G): Oke Baale is at Osogbo, it is the seat of Osogbo Local Government. We met the Community Leaders which comprises of Alhaji Moroof Adekunle, the Chairman of Akintokun Abe-Obi Community, Alhaji Olagunju Ifeoluwa comunity who happened to be the Chairman of the Chairmen of Akintokun Community in general because Akintokun Community comprises of Eleven Communities.
The Road shown to us is totally damaged because the culvert linking the Community to eastern by-pass road has collapsed. This has hindered their economic activities because no access road for vehicles to bring food to the Communities.
There is another culvert that links Fiwasaye to the ring road, it has collapsed too.
In his remark, Elder Koledowo Johnson assured them of government intervention and enjoined them to always pay their taxes.

Here attached are the pictures of the said culvert

ILUDUN COMMUNITY (OSOGBO L.G): Iludun Community is at Testing Ground Area, it is the host of Popular White Mosque. We met the High Chief Afolabi Yusuff Keji, Alhaji Hammed Bolarinwa and many others who gave us a warm welcome to their Community. OKE-ODO/ARENJA COMMUNITY (OROLU L.G): Oke-Odo Community is located at the east of Orolu Local Government. It is five kilometers to Orolu Local Government Head Quarters. The culvert linking the main town to Oke-Odo Community has collapsed. Several government representatives have visited the culvert but nothing was done. We were received by the community Chairman and Secretary in person of Mr. Muhammed Musefiu and Olatoye Mukaila respectively. They solicited assistance from government in respect of the culvert as the community has been cut-off from the entire Ifon-Osun town.
It has affected the economy of the dwellers. In her response, Hon. Aderibigbe Rasidat assured them of government prompt intervention and enjoined them to always pay their tax as at when due.

OKEKERE-AWESIN COMMUNITY (OROLU L.G): Okekere-Awesin Community is at off Osogbo-Ogbomosho road. We met the community leader who double as Baba-Kekere Olufon of Ifon dynasty chief Akintola Oyedepo. The culvert linking the Okekere Community to Janta Area has totally collapsed. It has cut-off the entire community away from the main town.

They solicited for the government assistance in respect of the said culvert so that the people of the community can have access to the main town. The dwellers of the community are staunch member of our dear party APC.

ILIE TOWN (OLORUNDA SOUTH L.C.D.A): We moved to Ilie Town where we met the Chairperson of Olorunda South L.C.D.A Hon. (Mrs) Omolaoye Felicia she showed us the only access road connecting entire Ilie town to Ifon-Orolu. This Road was awarded to one company during the Former Governor Oyinlola’s regime but was tarred up to Osun-Esa in Orolu L.G and since then, the work has stopped on the Road. We would have loved if the government can see to this project for completion.

The importance of the said road is enormous because, its the only access road where farmers transport their goods to the market. The dweller of the communities using the road is mostly member of our party (APC).

It is of our opinion that government should set up the investigative committee to see why the project was stopped.

Here attached the picture of the said road

OKE-AYEPE (IREPODUN L. G): We visited Irepodun Local Government through the Constituency Secretary Hon Abayomi Anthony who doubled as the chairman of Irepodun Local Government. He took us to Oke Ayepe where a collapsed culvert was shown to us. This is the Road linking Ilobu to Ifon through Ifon/Erin Community High School.
This culvert has caused a lot of problem to people living in that axis as there is no access road linking them to Olobu Market.
A temporary wood culvert was constructed with community effort so that the people can have access to Market but it could not allowed heavy lorry. We are of the opinion that if government can reconstruct the said culvert, it will grow the economy of the Area because the dwellers are mostly member of our dear party (APC).

Here attached the picture of the said culvert

ARO ROAD, ISALE OSUN (IREPODUN SOUTH L.C.D.A): We visited this community through the Vice Chairman of Federal Constituency Office, Hon Babatunde Adegoke where the culvert linking Aro in Egbedore Local Government to Isale-Osun in Erin Town in Irepodun South L.C.D.A. Here attached the picture of the said road

RECOMMENDATION: We commend the efforts of the government in all its efforts in the infrastructural programme in the state.
In conclusion, having inspected all the roads in Osogbo federal constituency (Osogbo, Olorunda, Irepodun and Orolu), we are of the opinion that the government should come to aids of the dwellers of the communities visited so as to improve their economy because most of the dwellers of communities are card-carrying member of our dear party (APC).
