BREAKING: Gunshots As Shiites and Police Clash At Federal Secretariat In Abuja

Passersby and workers at the Federal Secretariat, Central Business District, Abuja were on Thursday thrown into panic as police shoot in the air to dispatch members of Islamic Movement of Nigeria, popularly known as Shiites.

The Nations reports that members of the group were set for another clash with the policemen before they were dispatched.

Passersby and workers were thrown into panic around the area as they ran away from the scene due to the gunshots.

Supporters of detained Shiite leader Ibrahim El- Zakzaky were out again to protest the detention of their leader.

Findings revealed that no one has been lost so far.
