Morocco have dumped Portugal out of the World Cup to become the first African team to reach the World Cup Semi final after a tense quarter final.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his Portuguese were unable to come back after El-Nesri scored from a wonderful header in 42 minutes.

Portugal started the match with larger odd as their match against Switzerland have increased their chances of reaching the semi.

But a well disciplined, compact and resilient Moroccan team aborted Ronaldo’s dream of lifting a World Cup trophy is his glittering career.

Morocco on the other hand, became the first African team to reach the World Cup Semi final ever.

They ended the match with ten men as Walid Cheddira received two yellow cards in quick succession.
