The Nigeria Center for Disease Control has confirmed 12 new cases of coronavirus in the country.

The center wrote on Twitter, “Twelve new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 9 in Osun, 2 in Edo and 1 in Ekiti State

*As at 12:30 pm 1st April there are 151 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Nine have been discharged with two deaths.

With this development, Osun now has 14 cases of COVID-19, becoming the third most infected state behind Lagos and FCT.

The new cases and the three cases confirmed yesterday were among the 127 people coming into the state from Cote D’Ivore who have been quarantined by the state government.

They were taken into isolation center prior before they entered the state during the weekend.
