Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Selecao of Brazil will on October 13th tackle in an international friendly.

The encounter which is slated for the 55,000-capacity National Stadium of Singapore will see the South American giants battle Senegal’s Teranga Lions three days earlier at the same venue at 8pm local time.

Confirming both games, the coordinator Brazil national team Juninho Paulista admitted that Senegal (20th of FIFA Ranking) and Nigeria (33rd) are two of Africa’s best teams today and will good oppositions for the Selecao during October FIFA window.

“We chose two of the best African teams because they are high level confrontations and against a school that the Brazilian National Team has had few encounters in recent years.

“It was a wish of the Technical Commission, so we went after these opponents,” Paulista added.

This will be the second time that the two national sides will meet in the friendly games with the first held in 2003 where the Super Eagles were hammered 3 to nil.
