Christmas: Akosile felicitates with Christians, calls for support for Oyetola

A frontline aspirant for the House of Representatives, Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency, Engr. Olufemi Akosile has felicitated with Christians in his constituency and residents of Osun as they celebrate the Christmas and New Year festivities.

A statement personally signed by him urged all Christian faithful to see the season as a time to be more dedicated to God.

Engr. Akosile said, “Today, I rejoice with all Christians across the two local government areas of Obokun and Oriade on the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ and wish all Nigerians a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

“I particularly urged Christians, in particular, and Nigerians, in general, to use the period to rededicate themselves to God as well as pray and work for peace and unity.
“And since it is also a time of love, it is my wish that more of our people consider extending a hand of generosity and fellowship to one another especially the less privileged ones amongst us,” he added.

Engr. Akosile also used the opportunity to solicit prayers and support for the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola in its bid to transform the State.

The APC chieftain said: “We should not also forget to pray for the administration as it goes about the duty of repositioning our State and make it an enviable one among comity of States.

“The year 2022 presents us an opportunity to reward the good deeds of our Governor by reelecting him for another term. I urge us all to continue supporting the Governor and our party, the APC.”
