Desmond Elliott reelected as Olumide Oworu’s naming missing on INEC document


Nollywood actor-turned-politician, Desmond Olushola Elliott has won his reelection bid to represent Surulere 1 state constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Elliott won with 17,837 votes to defeat other candidates in the Saturday’s election.

InsightMedia noted that the name of Olumide Oworu, whose poster has gone viral as candidate of the Labour Party was missing on the INEC document as Bode Adebayo was the candidate of the LP on the list.

Adebayo came second with 7,822 votes while candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Abolaji Thompson came distant third with just over a thousand votes.
