The largest umbrella of youths in Iwo land, the Federation of Iwo Land Students’ Union has stated its readiness to work in unison towards the realization of “Iwo Lokan” agenda.
This statement was made by the President of the Union, Comrade Abeeb Muyiwa Abdulhamid shortly after he and his team paid courtesy visit to one of the Governorship aspirant from Iwo, Dr. Olayinka Ayinde.
He explained that his administration has designed several programmes that will promote the unity among the students in Iwo land.
He said “realization of Iwo Lokan agenda was part of my manifestoes and will be ultimately works towards.
“The agenda is no more news as even our elders have taken it to every corners of the state. Iwo will InshaAllah produce the next governor of this state.
“At the level of students’ union, we have resolved to contribute our best towards the development of our state and I have to make it clear that our support for aspirant will base on credibility, competence and readiness to serve. We are not just sentimental but for the sake of fair treatment, Iwo deserves governor,” he added.
The union President said his administration within a fortnight has organized a programme tagged “Keep Iwo clean” which “was aimed at sanitising our town and strengthen the unity among the youths.”
