A part of the popular Aiyegbaju International Market in Osogbo was on Saturday afternoon was engulfed by inferno.
Osun Reporters quotes eyewitnesses who said the fire started around noon and razed part of the market. Members of the public were said to have contacted the Osogbo division of Osun State Fire Service located at Oke-fia.
It was gathered that the inferno was quenched by men of Osun Fire Service before it could wreak great havoc on the marketers.
As at press time, no one could ascertain the reason for the sudden fire outbreak but nobody died or injured but properties were destroyed.
