Digital marketing brand Digprom has delivered its first set of trainees in the “Learn Digital program” in Kwara state.

A total of 16 participants took part in the program which lasted for 2 weeks. The curriculum covered fundamentals of digital marketing with focus on Social media marketing (Paid and Organic), Content creation, Search Engine Optimization and Marketing, Email Marketing, Ecommerce and Social Commerce, Blogging, Analytics, Display Advertising as well as online reputation management.

Speaking at the graduation event, Mr Abdulazeez Abdulrazaq who was among the dignitaries at the occasion, commended the initiative and also extolled the participants on the importance of the training they’ve got and how they can positively impact with it.

The lead convener, who is one of the trainers Ishola Kayode from digprom in his address encouraged the participants to do beyond getting their certificate and practice what they’ve learnt towards developing businesses with their skills.

Digital skills is one of the most demanded skills by HR in 2018 and knowledge of this increases chances of securing job opportunities.

Halima Gegele who is a graduand commended the team at digprom for bringing such an initiative to Kwara. She also expressed her delight about the knowledge which she has acquired in the training. “The knowledge of digital marketing will help me do better and stand out in my fashion business”, she concluded.

Anthony Opaleye who also graduated from the program also expressed his optimism in starting a career in digital marketing. Another participant who gave her name simply as Salmah said she intends to start a niche based blog after the training.

Digprom launched the digital training which was tagged “Learn Digital in Kwara” on August 19, 2019 with a total of 16 participants. They have commenced registration for the second cohort which is expected to start next week.
