Amidst today’s torrential downpour, auto technicians and other informal workers stormed Alausa, seat of Lagos State government to protest the continued theft of mechanic villages and other informal work clusters.

Gbenga Komolafe, famous activist and secretary of Formal Workers Association of Nigeria, FIWON dropped the hints to Security Monitor, noting that the grouse of the informal workers sector has been the continuous neglect, harassment and suppression being exhibited by governments at all levels in the country. FIWON Scribe added that the situation in Lagos is so pathetic that all efforts to seek retreat is being blocked by the state government.
