Lanre Babalola Welcomes Former Deputy Speaker, Lasun Yusuff Back Home, Lauds His Records

Mr Wasiu Lanre Babalola has congratulated the immediate past Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Sulaimon Olasunkanmi Yusuff over a successful tenure in the green chambers.

Babalola described the eight years stay of Lasun Yusuff in the lower legislative chambers of the country as “a harvest of bounty” for the people of Irepodun/Olorunda/Orolu/Osogbo federal constituency.

He stated this on Tuesday in a chat with Insight Media in Ilobu.

He said, “the Osogbo Federal Constituency has never had it as good as this let alone better. The last eight years have been the best in the history of the four local governments.

“Hon Lasun Yusuff’s brilliance and sterling performance gave us harvest of bounty in the constituency and to me, he remains the best representative whose name will forever be remembered for good.

“His tracked record both as Nigerian Deputy Speaker and as 1st ECOWAS Deputy Speaker will go a long way in the history of the country and Africa Sub-region at large.

“I welcome him back home and as he moves on to open another chapter, I wish him success in all his endeavours.”
