Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has urged Muslim faithful to abide by the lessons of Ramadan .

The Governor gave the admonition today at the Eid prayer ground, Oke-Baale, Osogbo the State Capital to mark the end of the 2023 Ramadan.

Adeleke who was accompanied by top Government echelons and political functionaries such as: Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye and Hon. Kolapo Alimi, among others, noted that the holy month of Ramadan was so sacred that it must be treated so even after the period.

He charged Muslim faithful to always pray for his administration to achieve all its campaign promises to the people, stating that he will continue to give residents of Osun the much desired dividends of democracy which they voted for.

Earlier in his sermon, the grand Imam of Osun State who also doubles as the Chief Imam of Osogbo land, Sheik Musa Animasahun appreciated Allah for giving all Muslims the grace to observe this year’s fasting peacefully and joyfully from its beginning to the end.

Imam Animashaun emphasized that to everything in life, there is a season which signifies what will become the end of mankind. He called people to always ask for forgiveness of sin and forsake it totally.
Consequently.

The revered Cleric urged people to serve God with the whole of their lives, saying that hell is real.

The Chief Imam also used the opportunity to pray for Adeleke and for a successful tenure in office as he sought Gods wisdom and knowledge for them to steer the affairs of the State.
