My 6-Points Integral Agenda For City Center Ward – SDP Candidate, Deji Adebayo

The candidate of the Social Democratic Party for City Center ward of Abuja Municipal Area Council, Mr Deji Mike Adebayo has revealed that his mission at the legislative arm of AMAC is stemmed from six integral points.

Deji as fondly called by his admirers stated this on Thursday while speaking with newsmen in Abuja.

He stated that his over three decades stay in Abuja has helped me garner the required experience, knowledge and capabilities to represent the people of City Center ward in AMAC.

The UNIABUJA graduate added that he remains the most experienced and competent person among the contenders for the seat.

According to him, when elected, he shall as a matter of urgency tackle the menace of illicit drug abuse through education of youths who are the victims of the abuse and through legislation.

“I have identified that illicit drugs use and abuse and lack of gainful employment are some of the main progenitors of insecurity in our area. This will be tackled by educating the youth on the dangers of drug abuse, pushing for laws that discourage the use of illicit drugs, training the youth with skills and entrepreneurial knowledge as well as empowering them and promoting legislations that will favour the financial institutions to make interest capital ready to youths who need it and with little barriers”.

Rolling out other programmes, Deji said he will also highlighted that the poverty rate in the ward is alarming and he lead the battle against it.

“The poverty rate in the constituency and the country as a whole is alarming and I shall take a lead in eradicating it and uplifting the living standard of my people. Several packages are are in stock to help ameliorating the poverty level through legislation, entrepreneurship training and soft loans for artisans and market women.

Other agenda are healthcare, educational development, water supply and creation of harmonious relationship among the residents of the ward.
