No APC Candidate, No Elections In Zamfara State – Yari Draws Battle Line With INEC

Governor of Zamfara State, Alh Abdulaziz Yari has declared that no elections will hold in his state if the Independent National Electoral Commission fail to include candidates of the All Progressives Congress on the ballot.

The governor made this declaration on Saturday during his campaign rally in Talata Mafara local government area as he continues his statewide campaign tours for all APC candidates.

He said, “There is no way elections will be conducted in Zamfara State without candidates of the APC despite High Court verdict which confirmed that APC conducted primaries in the state.”

Yari and the INEC have been at loggerheads since October last year when the commission declared that it has no record of primaries held by the APC in the state.
