As Osun State marks 30th year of her creation today, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Engr Olufemi Akosile has congratulated citizens and residents of the State over the anniversary.
Akosile, in a statement he signed on Thursday, a copy of which was obtained by InsightMedia in Osogbo, also congratulated the State Governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola for fulfilling his destiny of being the leader of the state at this time.
The House of Representatives Aspirant for Obokun/Oriade federal constituency, said the creation of Osun State has helped bring out great potentials and positioned Osun and her people for greater heights.
He recalled that Osun has continued to move from strength to strength, stating that the efforts of the founding fathers have “never gone in vain for any seconds”.
“A mere look at those States created at the sane time with Osun shows that Osun has been the leader of all. Our State has continued to move from strength to strength and our development has in no far measure, be better than others.
“Successive leaders have done their best to put our State on right footing and the contributions of our party, the All Progressives Congress have been great. From Chief Bisi Akande to Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and now, our amiable Governor Gboyega Oyetola, APC have given Osun best leadership it ever had.
“All of us at Akosile Progressives Vanguard congratulate the Governor, the Government and the people of the State on the occasion of 30th anniversary. We pray that may our State continue to move stronger and creating opportunities for youths, old and every residents as it has been doing.”
