Osun: Forum of LGEA board members endorse Oyetola for second term


The Forum of Osun Local Government Education Authority Board has thrown its weight behind Governor Gboyega Oyetola for second term.

The Forum made this declaration after a meeting held in Osogbo, the state State capital on Friday.

Members of the forum from all local government, who also endorsed Prince Gboyega Famodun as the Chairman of the party, dissociated themselves from the Osun Progressives group.

According to the communique signed by the Omooba Johnson Adekanmi Abikoye, Forum Chairman and Comrade Taiwo Akinloye, Forum Secretary, the LGEA Board members said they believe in continuity of Mr Governor till 2026.

The communique partly read, “that we are fully committed to the continuity in office till year 2026 of our incumbent and amiable governor, Adegboyaga Oyetola, a silent achiever and his Deputy. Benedict Gboyega Alabi.

“That we fully support it that the incumbent Chairman of the Party, Prince Gbeyega Famodun should continue his good work as our Party Chairman for another four years in office,

“That we dissociate ourselves completely from membership and activities of all dissent and splinter groups in APC especially TOP in any guise or name it is called. Our loyalty is to the governor and to Party, APC”
