Osun PDP Celebrates Workers On May Day, Says They Are The Lifeline Of Our Society

The people’s Democratic Party in Osun State has joined others to salute all Nigerian workers on the occasion of 2021 Workers day for their unrelenting service, steadfastness and zeal expended towards the stability and development of Osun State in particular and Nigeria in general.

This is contained in a special release issued by the State Publicity Secretary of the Party, Hon. Areola Jacob Ayodeji, who described workers as true essence of a genuine nation building and development despite the provocative challenges of obnoxious policies by the rulling All Progressive Congress (APC).lts a common knowledge that Osun workers today have been impoverished, bastardized, traumatized and pauperized.

We salute the courage and resilience of the Osun Workers as they fatefully march on inspite of the adverse effects of misrule, incompetency, and cluelessness of this present Government in our state as a result of pillage of our Commonwealth and resources expended on frivolous and White utopian projects ,all to insult our sense of judgement. These aptly led to large scale underdevelopment and humongous debt profile.

While we don’t intend to trade blame,we are however disturbed that your entitlements are unnecessarily denied. The attendant pains and grief are condemnable in its entirety and this we strongly detest and abhor.

The patriotism you continue to demonstrate is the tonic needed to strengthen our resolve to push hard for a better Osun State where workers earnings are protected and their future guaranteed.

As integral and important partner in the progress of the state, a PDP government will ensure a conducive atmosphere devoid of extortion, redundancy, pseudo promotion and oppression as a way of complimenting our manpower and healthy productivity.

We celebrates with you as we together look forward to the State of our dream and land of freedom where workers will reigns and accorded their core value and respect. This is our covenant with you eminent Workers of Osun State.
