Immediate past Governor of Osun State, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola was on Monday received back to the State by his supporters amidst fanfare and jubilations.

Oyetola, who has not been seen in the State since he handed over to Governor Ademola Adeleke, said he used the five weeks leave to have some rest and also visited Saudi Arabia to thank God for the opportunity given to him to serve Osun as Governor.

“Since I left, I have enough rest that I couldn’t have in the last four years. I was able to visit Saudi Arabia to thank Almighty Allah for the opportunity He gave me to serve as Governor of Osun State. This has been my lifestyle in the last few weeks that I left the State,” the former Governor said.

While appreciating his supporters who have come out en masse to welcome him at his campaign office in Osogbo, Oyetola said he was caught unaware as he only planned to come to the State “quietly”.

He called on residents of the State whose permanent voters cards are still with the Independent National Electoral Commission to go and collect them immediately. He said the this year will bring two blessings for Osun State as he will reclaim his mandate via the court and Tinubu will be elected president of the country.

“This year will bring two blessings to us in Osun. First, I will reclaim my mandate and the second one is that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will be elected the president of Nigeria. These are the blessings we should be expecting.”

Oyetola reiterated that Tinubu remains the best for Nigeria, stating that the achievements of the former Lagos Governor speaks for him at times.
