Oyo Accord Rep candidate dies


Jacob Funmi Ogunmola, the candidate of Accord Party for Atisbo/Saki East/Saki West Federal constituency is dead.

The former Chairman of Atisbo local government, died a few hours after attending a function in Saki.

The Nation reported that the politician breathed his last when he was being moved from Saki, his base to Lagos.

A source told the publication that Ogunmola had just finished a programme in Saki when he complained he was not well, which prompted the move to take him to Lagos.

This is also coming weeks after his successor, Wasiu Owolabi died in an auto accident.

InsightMedia also reported that a House of Representatives candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun State, Otunba Sola Arabambi died in the early hours of Saturday. He died after a brief illness.
