Pandemonium and chaos rented the atmosphere in Osogbo Osogbo on Tuesdays evening , as the members of Joint Task force chased a private car suspected to belong to Yahoo boys around Oba Adesoji Aderemi East by-pass
The car eventually veered off the road to crash, leading to the death of one of the four occupants while three others sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital.
The angry Okada riders took the corpse of the decease guy and dropped it at the gate of the Government House located along Ilobu road.
Police were seen standing at the governor’s office gate watching helplessly as the angry Okada riders were shouting on them in angers.
The corpse of the dead guy was placed on the front of the governor’s office.
People were seeing gathered and discussing the incident with anger especially the Okada riders who described the action of the JTF as barbaric and wicked one.
Speaking with our Correspondent, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Yemisi Opalola said the officers were members of Joint Task Force and no SARS officers.
She said the identity of those involved can only be revealed by the commander of the JTF.
