Paris St. Germain made it a dozen goals against the Scottish side, Celtic after they scores seven goals in their return encounter on Wednesday.

The French side had in the reverse fixture in Scotland score five goals courtesy of Neymar, Cavani, Mbappe and the host of other stars.

Manchester United missed the chance to qualify for the knockout stage on Wednesday as they were beaten by Swiss side, Fc Basel no thanks to 89th-minute goals from Micheal Lang.

Jose Mourinho side were so brilliant in the first half as they muster 74% ball possession but without a goal.

Second half was so poor especially after the removal of Paul Pogba and the host were able to repeat what they have in the recent years done to Tottenham, Chelsea, United and Liverpool.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho: “We played against a team that played with five defenders.

“We tried to play with three attacking players and that worked in the first half because they couldn’t handle us.

“We didn’t score in the second half probably because of the fact that we know one point is enough.”

Lionel Messi started on the bench as Barcelona qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League despite their second successive 0-0 draw in the group stage.

October’s goalless game in Olympiakos was the first time in five years Barcelona had failed to score in a group stage match and they were again frustrated in Turin.

Ernesto Valverde’s side created the game’s better chances and were notably more in control of the match than on their last trip to Juventus, when they lost 3-0 in last season’s Champions League quarter-final first leg.

Barca have 11 points and will finish top of Group D as they have a better head-to-head record than Juventus, who currently have eight.
