Remain dedicated, committed – Akosile charges caretaker committee members


A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and House of Representatives Aspirant for Obokun/Oriade federal constituency, Engr. Olufemi Akosile has charged chairmen and members of Caretaker Committee to be committed and dedicated to service.

Akosile made this call while congratulating them in a statement he signed on Tuesday.

Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Monday swore in caretaker committee Chairmen in 69 local government areas and local government development councils.

While congratulating them on their appointments, the APC chieftain urged them to see their elevation as an opportunity to serve their people and work for the progress of the party.

He called on new local government officials to see unity of the APC and reelection of Governor Oyetola as priorities, while also delivering dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of their people.

The statement partly, “While I congratulate you all on this lofty height you just attained, it’s indeed a new chapter in your lives. You’re appointed among hundreds of thousands in your domain, not because you’re the best but because of your commitment, dedication and loyalty.

“I wish to urge you to remain loyal to the progressive ideas, committed to the service to your people and our party and dedicated to the uplifting people from their current status.

“I also wish to urge you to see development of our party and reelection of our amiable Governor Gboyega Oyetola in 2022 as priorities. It’s high time we became united towards the missions ahead.”
