The EndSARS Saga, by Olayemi Bello

When the government has pushed the people to the wall, revolution is inevitable. Olayemi (Dlaw), 2020.

For the first time in Nigeria history
The current occurrence is still a mystery
As the ENDSARS saga is mandatory
For Nigerian youths, it is a misery.

From every nook and cranny of the Nation
Youths assembled themselves with a notion
To fight against police brutality
With a view to transforming their mentality.

Alas! SARS has done more harm than good
It is hightime they met their Waterloo
History will not forgive the youth
If the government keep us in the booth.

For Nigerian youths, I am elated
For a common goal, we are United
This is happening for the first time
And indeed, it is the best time!

Hence, the current government should be diplomatic
Democracy is a government of the people
History will not forget the government that brought pains to the people
And the same history will always remember a good government.

If the government is not tolerable
Revolution is inevitable
Just like the Menshevik and Bolshevik
Exactly what caused the French Revolution
