Vehicle turns to Labour room in Onitsha as a woman delivered in traffic jam

A woman was delivered of a baby on Saturday in a traffic jam caused by the blockage of Niger Delta bridge in Onitsha.

It played out as a drama when the pregnant woman suddenly went into labour as she was stranded in the gridlock.

Traveling women around the place quickly rushed the woman into a stationed vehicle and cordoned off the area and turned the motor into a labour room.

After some minutes, the woman was delivered a baby and noise of jubilants rented the air.

Hundreds of travellers from the South-East and South-South returning home from the Christmas and New Year holidays were stranded, following the closure of the Onitsha end of the bridge.
