A book titled “Moral Decadence among Nigerian Youths; A menace to National Development” is set to be presented to the public today.
In a release made available to InsightMedia by the author, Opeyemi Abdul-warith Oladimeji made it known that, the book will be presented to the public today, 22nd of February 2018 at Fun-Field Event Centre, Opposite Leisure Spring Hotel, Dada Estate, Osogbo, Osun State by 10:00am.
Opeyemi who is a Principal Editor with Insight Media and also the Executive Director of International Institute For Educational Research and Development (IIERD), said that “the youths being the catalyst of positive social change and trustees of posterity has from time wallow in deep decadence, and there has been urgent need to savage these youths from this anomaly so as to foster the desired national development. However, The book is geared towards providing the strategic ways out in curtailing the prevalent endemic immorality and social vices among Nigerian youths, and to encourage them to embracing their roles in the task of national development.”
Dignitaries expected to grace the occasion includes; the Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the Deputy Governor, Otunba (Mrs.) Titi Laoye Tomori, the Commissioner for Youth Engagement, Mrs. Mofolake Adetoun Adegboyega and many others.
While award of excellence will be presented to deserving individuals that has contributed immensely to humanity, the guest speaker, Hon. Tunde Olatunji, member of the Osun state house of Assembly will be discussing on the topic “Repositioning the Nigerian Youths; Turning Challenges into Opportunities”.
