My Dear Osun sons and daughters,
It’s another governorship election season. Being perpetually a tussle, or rather a struggle among actors who in one way or the other want to either through legitimate or other means find their way to the executive office. And on the part of the electorate, it has to be an issue of personally assumed RIGHT choices. Presently, alot of people are worried about who wears the shoes after Gov. Rauf Aregbesola? The answer is simple and straight forward. Let’s first of all ask ourselves, what is right about the choices we over time make?
Is it morality?
Is it Intellect?
Is it Capability?
Is it Ability
Is it Academic Excellence?
Is it Modesty?
Is it Experience?
Is it ‘God fearing’
Is it about Passion for the common man on the street, development driven or what a view?
With the liberation to both politics and governance Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has brought to Osun. I don’t think, in my own view the office should be for people or somebody who does not possess the aforementioned variables. It doesn’t matter the number of years you have spent in politics, you might have even served as SSA to the late Sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, GOOD! It does not matter how often and routinely you spend nights at party leaders’houses. All these are non- prerequisites to attain the office of the first citizen of OSun. Osun presently needs a smart person, highly intelligent, with high level of exposure who will build on the foundation being laid by our OYATO Governor, Ogbeni Himself.
Dr. Benedict Olugboyega Alabi is the man who God has purposely prepared and packaged for the job. He is the one with the ability to move on the ship to a greater level.
Who is this BOA?
He is an Ikire man born some 52years ago, schooled in Ikire, Ibadan, Ago-Iwoye and Akoka Lagos for his primary, secondary and higher educations respectively.
A technocrats who has been in the world of financial and Facility management and maintenance for over 3 decades now. He is a captain of Industries, highly intellectual, a manager of both capital and human resources, a rational actor, Dr. Benedict has worked in the financial sector cutting across various institutions both private and public sectors.

Benedict Olugboyega Alabi is currently Chairman, CEO Eliezer Workplace Management Ltd, a professional company specializing in Facility Maintenance and Management with staff strength of about 2,600. And with offices in Nearly all African countries. This company maintains facilities for most oil and gas companies in the trans Sahara Africa.
‘Gboyega has served on the Technical Committe of Federal Government of Nigeria on Development of Green Building Initiative for Nigeria. Not only that, he was also a member, Federal Government Committee on Establishment of Building Rating System
Apart from his M.Sc. Economics from the Prestigious University of Lagos, Benedict Alabi also consolidated further in his study both in Nigeria and overseas. His certification to mention a few, include the following:

He is a lover of people most especially the needy and the vulnerable. He is a philanthropist. A Founder of Osun Ajose Foundation. A loving husband and a caring father. He is a devoted Christian who still accommodate people irrespective of religion.
I can not just describe or define this young man with greater achievements at just 52. I believe my contemporary in osun must have seen reasons why we must come together and support this early achiever and a brilliant man of my generation, home boy per excellence who is loved by old and young of Ikire.
