Bidemi Idowu, a 41-year old herbalist has been arrested by the Ogun state police command for allegedly being in possession of fake currencies.
He was also alleged of defrauding a 21-year old Habeeb Amosu of N400,000 in the pretence of doing maney doubling ritual for him.
The police public relations office of the command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the suspect was arrested after the victim’s father, Amosun Basiru made a report at the station.
The N400,000 allegedly collected from the victim was recovered.
Other items recovered included 59 pieces of 1,000 fake CFA, one piece of $50, 600 pieces of fake N1, 000 notes and charms.”
Oyeyemi appealed to parents to advise their children against quick money.
