Osun 2018 Governorship Aspirant, Dr. Taofeeq Olayinka Ayinde on Friday lost his mother Alhaja Sariyu Ayoni Ayinde.
This was made known in a release by his media aide, George Abiodun and made available to journalists in Osogbo.
Alhaja Ayinde died in the early hours of Friday and he has been buried at Oloko-Obi compound in Iwo, Iwo Local Government Area of Osun State according to Islamic rites.
Ayinde described her mother as ‘a virtuous woman and disciplinarian’ who will be greatly missed by her children, family members, religious associates and everyone that came across her during her life time.
Ayinde added that his mother as a great leader both in the religious circle and in the community at large and dedicated her entire life towards the service to Almight Allah and humanity.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant his mother eternal rest and make Aljanah his abode.
