As former special adviser to governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State on works and infrastructures, Engr. Debo Amuda had his last breath today, Dr. Olayinka Ayinde has joined the millions of Osun indigenes to commiserate with the Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Nigerians at large over the great loss of the icon.

Dr. Ayinde expressed this in a statement by his media aide, George Abbey and made available to InsightMedia in Osogbo.

The governorship aspirant described Late Engr. Amuda as a man of integrity and perfect leader who will be greatly missed by his immediate family, friends, political associates, All Progressives Congress and community at large.

The statement reads in part “Dr. Olayinka Ayinde mourns the demise of Engr. Debo Amuda, the former Special Adviser to Governor Rauf Aregbesola on works and infrastructures who had his last breath today.

“Engr. Amuda was during his life time a community servant per excellence, a true leader and an amazing personality with integrity and humility. He will be greatly missed by his immediate family, sons and daughters of Iwoland, political associates, APC and state at large.

“It is so unfortunate that he left us when his tank of knowledge, wisdom and experience are needed most but Ibelieve that he has gone to have eternal rest.”

Ayinde prayed to God to grant Amuda external rest and make Aljanah his abode.
