The Orangun of Oke-Ila His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedokun Abolarin has advised the youths to always tolerate one another regardless of the ethnic groups they belong.

Speaking at the Regional Youths Summit held in Osogbo on Wednesday, the Monarch commended the initiative of the Ministry if Regional Integration, Osun state for deeming it fit to stage the historical event.

He charged youths to reorganize themselves and be ready to take over from the leaders if today to ensure the development of the country.

“As youths of today, you should reorganize and reposition yourselves towards a direction that will be crucial in the realization of this agenda.

“The most important thing is that you must not be clannish or lazy. Live with the belief that everyone has what he/she can contribute. I have been to far and near places and I can tell you that my success story if written will include people from other tribes.

“Today I can tell you that in the school that I run as charity, I have over ninety four students there and those from other regions are many.”

He however, expressed sadness that he may not be alive to witness the realization of the 25-year agenda set at the programme.

He said, “it is so saddened and rather unfortunate that I would not be alive by 2040 to witness these agenda realized. But the history is made here today and I thank God that I’m part of the it.

Speaking on the significance of time and how efficiently the usage of time should be. The monarch implored the youths especially those in medical line to be careful of phone, as it takes too much of precious time. He further buttress on the why youth should organise themselves toward a direction if they want to actualize their stands on the issue of “not too young to run”.

He advise the youth to “take care, take chance, and take charge, following the description of the future as their home. I’m pleading with you, ensure and uphold the truth in all ramifications. Because that is the only way to succeed as a generation.”
